About the Gallery:
Established in 1987, the Dean Jensen Gallery has often been described in the national art press as ranking as one of Milwaukee's finest commercial art spaces.
The gallery not only handles work by many of Wisconsin's more highly regarded artists, but it has also regularly mounted exhibitions by such internationally prominent painters and photographers as Chuck Close, Howard Hodgkin, Alex Katz, Ed Paschke, Aaron Siskind and Kiki Smith.
In addition to contemporary art, the gallery also handles work by so-called "outsider" artists, among them such major figures as Howard Finster, Sister Gertrude Morgan, Gerard Sendrey and Bill Traylor.
